What cookies we use today
We only set cookies and browser-storage items that are strictly necessary to operate the service, plus one item that records your own display preference. We do not use advertising cookies, remarketing pixels, or cross-site trackers.

“Session” means the cookie is removed when you close the browser or sign out. “Strictly necessary” cookies are exempt from prior consent under the ePrivacy Directive and the GDPR because the service cannot function without them.
Third-party embeds
Some pages may display a Google Maps preview in the footer. To avoid contacting Google automatically, the map is not loaded until you click “Show map”. When you do, your browser connects to Google and Google may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. We remember your choice in the consent localStorage item above so you don’t have to click again on future visits.
How to change your choices
- Revoke the map opt-in — click “Hide map” on the footer map, or clear your browser’s site data for this domain.
- Sign out to drop the session cookie.
- Browser controls — every major browser lets you view, block, or delete cookies on a per-site basis.
Future changes
If we ever introduce analytics, advertising, or marketing cookies, we will update this page and ask for your consent before any such cookies are set. Strictly-necessary cookies will continue to be set without a prompt.
